Dr. Amani Morra graduated with a dental degree with honours from Dalhouse University in Halifax in 2001. After two years of practicing general dentistry in New Brunswick. She decided to pursue orthodontic training at the University of Manitoba, and in 2006 earned a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics. Her treatment philosophy focuses on providing you with individualized, quality care. She is a firm believer in light force mechanics, non-extraction treatment when possible, and a comprehensive diagnostic approach for children, adolescents, and adults.She also believes that orthodontics is both science and art together, requiring creative skill not just mechanical know-how with brackets and wires.
Dr. Amani Morra has a passion for helping people-crafting smiles perfectly suited to each patient is what energizes her as she taught courses in dentistry and orthodontics at the University of Manitoba and UBC as well as authored numerous publications and presented at orthodontic conferences.
Outside work, she is a mom, with a husband and four beautiful children: Ava, Leila, Kamran and Parisa. Like many of you, she understands the joys and struggles of juggling family, school, and work.
