Vancouver Community College and The University of British Columbia
With a passion for the health sciences, Amanda studied dental hygiene at Vancouver Community College where she excelled in academic and clinical settings. Her commitment to staying current with the advancing trends of dentistry has led her to pursue a Bachelor of Dental Science in Dental Hygiene at UBC. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, Amanda finds it very important to make each visit as comfortable as possible. Growing up with dental anxiety has made Amanda more understanding of how frightening it can be in the dental chair, so she strives to provide care that is gentle, yet thorough.
When Amanda is not at the dental clinic, she is either out exploring new restaurants or staying inside to relax and watch her favourite shows. She and her boyfriend love trying out new places to eat, so don't be afraid to bring any restaurant recommendations to your visit with her!
